Summer School

In partnership with Notre Dame's ACE program, we offer a limited number of summer classes.  Most courses are for students who need to make up a credit, have a particular scheduling conflict, or have been selected for a support course.  SAT Prep is open to any student.  Students must speak directly with their counselor to receive approval and register for the course.  Eligible incoming 9th graders will be presented with particular options when they register for classes.

Dates and Times for 2024
1st session: June 12 - June 27, 8:00 - 11:45 a.m. (no classes on June 21)
2nd session: July 8 - July 24,  8:00 - 11:45 a.m. (no classes on July 12 and 19)

   *SAT Prep is June 17 - 27 and July 8 - 18.  

Courses Offered:

Algebra I (credit recovery only)

Algebra II  (credit recovery only)

World History (for students with special scheduling conflicts only)

Personal Finance (rising 9th graders only)

SAT Prep

Jump Start  (rising 9th graders only)

Sophomore Success  (rising 10th graders only)

English 9, English 10, English 11 - at Marian HS  (credit recovery only)

Biology - at Marian HS  (credit recovery only)

Integrated Chemistry-Physics - at Marian HS  (credit recovery only)   

 

All enrollments will be reviewed by the Saint Joseph High School Counseling Office for accuracy and approval. 

Each session is equivalent to one (1) semester of a course. 

Personal Finance, Jumpstart and Sophomore Success are single semester courses.

If taking a yearlong course, both semesters should be completed. Each session is $150.
