Liturgical life
Saint Joe offers 7:30 a.m. Mass in the chapel two to three times per week which is open to the entire school community - parents, guardians, students, teachers and staff. All-School Masses are celebrated monthly. Confessions are offered once or twice each week, during our monthly adoration days (two days each month), by appointment, and during Advent and Lenten Penance Services.
Eucharistic Adoration is offered two days every month (white day/blue day) with every classroom participating over the course of the semester (twice per year). Parents are invited and encouraged to participate.
Grandparents & Special Elder Day
This year’s Grandparents & Special Elder Day at Saint Joe is Monday, November 24th. This is a wonderful opportunity just before the holidays for grandparents and special friends to come see what’s happening at Saint Joe. A special Mass will be offered, and light refreshments will served immediately afterwards. Pre-registration is required for this event. Times and details for registration will be shared with students and families in the fall. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to assist with this event, please reach out to Mrs. Baglow at cbaglow@saintjoehigh.com
All School Masses
Out of deference to the parish schedules of our chaplains our all school Masses this year will witness a small change. On most all school Mass days our assembly will begin at 10:05 AM with our monthly awards and the passing of the Aidan’s Masterpiece torch. We’ll then begin Mass at 10:30 AM. Parents and family members who wish to attend Mass with us - and you are most welcome - are asked to please make note of the time change. (Mass times for our All Saints Festival retreat day on November 14th, and the annual pastoral visit with Bishop Rhoades on March 19th for the Feast of St. Joseph will be noted on the master calendar.)
