our legacy

Saint Joseph High School educates students in body and mind, and the athletics programs strive to uphold that same standard. Students across the 18 athletic programs at Saint Joe receive high-level instruction with the opportunity to compete against the best programs throughout the state of Indiana. Saint Joe athletics has a history of success in the Northern Indiana Conference, with over 45 NIC championships, 60 NIC MVPs, and 57 NIC Coach of the Year accolades.

Most programs compete under the umbrella of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA), with hockey (Michiana High School Hockey League) and lacrosse (Indiana High School Lacrosse League) being the exceptions. Saint Joseph High School consistently excels at the state level, with over 216 IHSAA Sectional championships and 93 IHSAA Regional championships. Thirteen teams have celebrated IHSAA State Championships, while 15 individuals have won state titles for their program.
