Families interested in applying for tuition assistance may complete a FACTS application for assistance at this link.

FACTS is a trusted third party company contracted by the Diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend that specializes in analyzing family financial information to help schools determine affordable tuition levels. Saint Joseph High School utilizes FACTS Grant & Aid to assist in determining a family’s contribution to educational expenses and processing and collecting required tax documents. The analysis provided by FACTS takes into account each family’s unique circumstances, including taxable income, assets, liabilities, family size, and the number of students in tuition-charging schools.

All FACTS applications are due by February 28 prior to the start of school. A completed FACTS application includes the submission of all tax documents and/or other supporting documents required by FACTS. Tax documents are needed to verify the information on the FACTS application. Please note that students cannot be considered for tuition assistance or for School Choice Scholarship until all required documents are complete and uploaded on the FACTS website.

Scholarships granted by Saint Joseph High School are made possible through philanthropic giving and the school's endowment. Scholarships vary per student and are determined by such factors as household income and family size, as indicated by the FACTS application. Other need-based scholarships are granted through Indiana’s School Choice Scholarship Program and the Scholarship Granting Organization of Northeast Indiana (SGO). 70% of Saint Joe students receive a School Choice Scholarship.

The Diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend provides additional tuition support in the form of grants, as well as proceeds from the annual Bishop's Appeal.

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of education; therefore, we raise funds annually through the Fund for Saint Joseph. Thanks to the generosity of our community, 100% of our students are supported by philanthropic giving. The Fund for Saint Joseph keeps tuition low for every student and provides additional resources in support of our Catholic mission.
