Questions Unlimited unabridged four-quarter format with a few modifications

Registration (Deadline 3/13):

1. Modify registration form and e-mail to Ben Dillon (bendillon@aol.com).
2. Make check with appropriate fee (from $75 to $150, see registration form) out to "St. Joseph's High School".
3. Send check to Ben Dillon at St. Joseph's HS, 1441 N. Michigan St., South Bend IN 46617 or bring check with you
4. Modify lunch form and e-mail to Lyn Schneider (lschneider@tsc.k12.in.us).

Schedule:
Check-in @ 8:00; Meetings w/quizmasters, coaches, players @ 8:30; Preliminary rounds @ 9:00, 9:45, 10:30, 11:15; Lunch @ 12; Playoff rounds @ 1 (quarters), 1:45 (semis), 2:30 (finals); Awards ceremony @ 3:15

Pairings:

• Pairings for first preliminary round will be random, with a modification to avoid pairing teams from the same league.
• Pairings for subsequent preliminary rounds will be Swiss System, with winners moving to play other winners and losers paired against losers.
• The highest eight teams advance to the playoffs. Seedings will be by number of wins first, total points second, highest score third.

Qualifiers:
Each league qualifies 1/2 of its members for the tournament. Hence, we expect a maximum of 34 teams (Duneland 5/10, Quad County 3/6, St. Joseph Valley 5/10, Tippecanoe Valley 4/8, White River 17/34). An at-large invitation may also be extended to another team to obtain an even number of teams.
