The Indiana State Quiz Bowl Board has two purposes: running the State Championship and promoting quiz bowl. The latter is served mainly by this website; for the former, the Board selects a favorable date, site, and format, and also invites the participants based on the recommendations of the leagues.

The Board currently consists of the league coordinator/secretary from each of the six leagues, plus several at-large representatives. Decisions are made by simple majority. The Board cannot make decisions that are binding on the individual leagues.
