As Saint Joseph's High School charts its way through another half century, we have completed Phases I and II of our Capital Campaign, with more than $4 million in pledges. This money will help us enhance our Catholic identity in the community and improve the academic atmosphere for our students.

So far, 92% of Phase I pledges and 75% of Phase II pledges have been received, for which we are thankful. The building has had many upgrades, including new thermal windows, updated science labs, and of course the new Kalamaros Fine Arts Center.

Here are some of the projects yet to be completed:

• Upgrading the school's electrical systems for technology expansion and air conditioning
• Replacing the elevator and making other accomodations for the physically disabled
• Creating a new facade at the gym entrance
